Bip turns their webcam towards the the front loader, holding up its newly attached articulated hands. They reach out with them and gingerly grasp the group of women with the metal manipulators, who look down in surprise.

See this is such a great way of demonstrating the difference between Talita’s work-friendship with Cal and Talita’s actual friendship with Bip. Not that there’s anything wrong with Cal, but this scene demonstrates an emotional intimacy that’s fantastic.

It’s so cute but at the same time my “Shake Hands with Danger” reflex is like that arm is a piece of heavy industrial equipment that has a very thin margin between “gentle hug” and “suplex a car”.
